Bobby HoytCandidate’s statement: Over the past twelve years, I have had the privilege of serving our great village as Village Trustee. We have been a part of making numerous positive changes in our Tarrytown. Among many accomplishments, we have obtained over $12 million in grant monies for repairing the Village’s Hudson River shoreline, rehabilitating and expanding our waterfront parks and restoring the Andre Brook; maintained twelve years of responsible and conservative budgets without sacrificing services, received an upgrade in our bond rating from A1 to Aa2, while staying under the state tax cap. We added two new parking lots in the downtown area that have provided over 35 spaces. We created a state of the art recreation facility and village swimming pool that benefits the entire community. We will continue to work hard and listen to the community as we strive to preserve Tarrytown as the “jewel” of the lower Hudson Valley.
